Hey Everyone! I am Sally and my husband is Jake. Together we run a small business called JS Metals LLC out of our backyard shop. Our business has become a fun hobby for us. Maybe someday it can become more. Never in a million years did I think I would set up my own business and have a website to go with it. Yet, here I am. An opportunity fell into place and we are running with it!
Here at JS Metals LLC, we are excited to help you with all your metal needs. Our website consists of both napkin and paper towel holders but if you follow us on our social media sites you may have seen that we create other items as well. We own a CNC Plasma Cutter and use it to broaden our ability to make all kinds of fun creations. Our table is 4 ft. X 4 ft. which allows us to create solid images in that size range. Anything bigger would need to be welded together. Most of our items are made out of 10-gauge sheet metal but we use other metals or thicknesses when needed.
Our products are typically made to order. If you order one of our products from our shop, we can have it made and ready to ship within 2-3 business days. Our custom orders take more time to create. With each custom project that we create for you, we plan to be in contact throughout the process to make sure we are making exactly what you want. We are here for you and want it to be right the first time.
A little bit about me…
I am a stay-at-home mom of six, yes you read that right, six kids. To make your jaw drop more, we have 5 boys and 1 girl. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and although I have never pursued a career in that field after getting a degree, I have used it in countless ways in raising my own family and in watching the many children that have come into my home for child care.
My husband is my right-hand man in this metal art endeavor. After going to school for what seemed like a lifetime and receiving several degrees, he ultimately decided to become an Electrical Engineer and has a Master’s in Business Project Management. He now has a great job working for a power company as an Electrical Engineering Project Manager. He is very hands-on and likes to stay busy with projects of all kinds. His current hobby is restoring a ’52 Dodge Coronet.
I love to be crafty and create new things, but I never thought working with metal would be my choice of canvas to work with. Both my parents had a love of working with wood so naturally, I thought that if I was going to start a new hobby, it would be with wood. My husband, on the other hand, likes to work with metal and as I said, when an opportunity presents itself you run with it. I have learned a lot about working with metal and have my husband to thank for helping me along the way.
This new adventure would not be possible without Jake by my side. We love seeing what we can accomplish with metal. It is so fun to see the finished product and know that I was able to complete that project. We are learning and growing in our abilities every day and hope you like what we have to offer.
